There is nothing plain about Plain Language. It’s a misnomer, like ‘plain yogurt,’ which is bold, punchy, and quite unforgettable! Plain was chosen to contrast with convoluted, obscure, and verbose prose.
Plain Language promotes clarity. I propose Plain Language 2.0 to promote clarity with style.
