Plain Language 2.0 and Health Literacy
An updated definition of health literacy takes into account the influence of system demands, professionals skills, and the use of plain language in communication, in addition to the individual skills of the person seeking, needing, or receiving medical information. This presentation will cover plain language strategies to help increase health literacy.
